I am over the age of 35, am a military veteran and brat. I decided to give writing a try after years of exposing those around me with my vivid imagination and not doing anything about it.
Welcome to my world! I’m so glad you stopped by.
I was born and raised in East Tennessee and spent my childhood hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, wading barefoot in creeks, chasing salamanders, fish, and frogs. We loved to tell stories while sitting around the campfire.
Those days of frog chasing sparked my interest in biology. I am a working scientist by day, but I never lost my love of telling stories.
I write contemporary fantasy, fantasy romance, and contemporary romance. My stories feature unlikely heroes and heroines who face a healthy dose of angst as they strive for redemption and a happily ever after, which everyone deserves. I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my husband, two children, three cats, and my very active imagination.

Murder, lies, deception, and love set in the outback under the Australian sun.
These are the stories of Faye Hall.
Her passion driven, mystery filled books are set in North Queensland, Australia during the development of the townships at the end of the 19th century.
Each of her novels bring something symbolically Australian to her readers, from Aboriginal herbal remedies, to certain gemstones naturally only found in this part of the world.
Each of her books tell of a passionate connection between the hero and heroine, surrounded and threatened by deceit, scandal, theft and sometimes even murder.
These romances swerve from the traditional romances as Faye aims to give her readers so much more intrigue, whilst also revealing the hidden histories of rural townships of North Queensland.
Faye finds her inspiration from the histories of not only the township she grew up in, but the many surrounding it. She also bases most of her characters on her own ancestors and their adventures when first migrating to Australia.
Faye was able to live her own passion driven romance, marrying the love of her life after a whirlwind romance in 2013. Together they are raising their 9 children in a remote country town in northern Queensland, Australia.
Cathy Cole lives in Northern Ireland with her husband, two sons, and Dexter, a dog who thinks he’s her third son.
After being diagnosed with AS (Ankylosing Spondylitis), Cathy was forced to give up work and began writing. She writes both short stories and novels. Her first short – a humorous take on giving up smoking – won a national award and was broadcast on local radio. Her next took second place in the University of Winchester “Reaching Out” competition. You’ll also find her work in the 2009 and 2010 A Writers’ Christmas—anthologies published for charity. Her latest short story success was with Bridge House Publishing’s Crime After Crime anthology, released December 2012
Spurred by the success of her short stories, Cathy turned to writing novels. Her debut novel Where There’s Smoke—published by Fireborn Publishing—was inspired by the bravery of firefighters everywhere, but especially by those who gave so much on 9-11. Cathy has drawn directly upon her family’s experience in the fire brigade in order to bring realism to her story.
At the moment, Cathy is hard at work on her next novel The Hungry Ghost.

I have written three business books, but now I enjoy writing fiction that focuses on strong female and male characters in a contemporary setting. I have published three books so far: “Tess Awakening,” “Tess Valkyrie” and “Tess Valkyrie Awakening.”
My background heavily influences what I write today. I was an Army Officer, which helps me develop realistic stories about the military. As a business executive, I write credible background stories. Mostly, due to my education in Political Science and International Relations I have an intense interest in contemporary events domestically and in the International arena.
My novels are built around the characters of Tess and Jake. The first two books in the series starting with ‘Tess Awakening’ and a sequel titled ‘Tess Valkyrie.’ Based on real contemporary events, the stories reflect the challenges of international political developments in the Middle East and the issues that professional women experience in today’s world. True to life, I address many aspects of people’s lives, starting with the second Iraq War and ending in the current era. Action, intrigue, deceit, obsession, sensuality, the use of wealth to achieve one’s goals and the struggle between corruption and ethics are a constant theme.
