About the Author
I’ve been spanking and writing my whole life, but took the plunge and started writing about spanking only recently. I published my first BDSM short on Kindle in February 2015; there will be many more!

What inspires you to write romance books?
Real life: mostly, memories of when I was young and deeply conflicted by my desires to both be spanked, and to dish it out. Finding “the Pearl” Victorian erotica was deeply liberating, and I would love to think that one day, some other troubled soul will read one of my stories and think “I am not alone after all”.

Tell us about how you write:
I think up stories all the time, on buses, while walking, whenever. When they are ready, I sit down and write them out on the computer. I use Scrivener. I tend not to plan, and I keep all the information about each story and character in my head. I tend to edit as I go; I don’t just let it splurge out onto the screen. A misspelling or grammar error in the prior paragraph throws my next one off, so I fix it before moving on.
I don’t really have a process that others could copy, exactly; and I have a suspicion that the reason some people need the structure of a process is to give themselves permission to get into the headspace in which the creative juices can flow.
My beloved reads everything, makes corrections (sometimes with a whip!) and suggestions, and when they are happy, I publish.

Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
All the time! and sometimes they are parts of me. Most times, actually.

What advice would you give other writers?
Hmmm. I don’t think I have enough experience (or sales!) in this field to offer advice. I’ll come back to this in a year or so.

How did you decide how to publish your books?
Mostly, it was my beloved, who having read a story, told me to publish it. I self publish because I find it way more efficient to out-source editing and layout and cover design, and keep the lion’s share of the royalties.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Hmmm. it certainly has one, and not just ebooks either. Watch this space!

What genres do you write:: Spanking, BDSM, mostly straight (M/f and F/m, but also a bit of M/m and F/f)

What formats are your books in: eBook
