Jude and Nina are the epitome of that whole raw, unflinching love thing that most people are jealous of. That is, until Jude dies and wakes up in The Waiting Room, surrounded by other souls who are all waiting to pass over into their next life. But unlike those souls, Jude’s name is never called by the mysterious “receptionist”. He waits, watching Nina out of giant windows. He’s waiting for her. What is this place? How long will he wait? And what will happen when and if Nina does join him? The Waiting Room is a story of not just love, but of faith, predestination, and philosophy, friendship and self-actualization, of waiting.

When Val Valentyn suggests that someone should put her nasty boss out of his misery, she is only joking. But when Val stumbles into her bedroom and finds Mr. Potter, his blood soaking into her brand new 400-thread-count sheets, it seems she has been taken literally. Val knows that regardless of a couple minor, not even worth mentioning incidents, where she was a teensy bit violent after one too many drinks, there is no way she killed her cheap, petty, world-class halitosis suffering boss. May he rest in peace. The problem is, the police are convinced it was she who stabbed Mr. Potter. Someone has to find the real killer and it looks like it will have to be Val. But she’s not alone. Her best friend Julie and her seventy-two year old neighbour Rose, are along for the ride. hile their sleuthing skills may be negligible, Val is convinced that determination and a positive attitude will lead them to the killer. And while she isn’t personally blessed with either of these qualities, she is plenty desperate, and doesn’t inspiration come from desperation? Or something like that. Inspiration comes from something. Coming Unclued is Book One in the laugh-out-loud Val Valentyn series.

  • BLOODED: (Anunnaki Rising) (THE BLOODED SAGA Book 1) by Lyn Murray

If you thought Vampire Myths were fully discussed, written and screen played into movies, and there is nothing further to be said or discovered – you are very wrong.

This fictional allegory will shake your understanding of how the world works, and teach you how immortal beings have raised, shaped and manipulated our existence.

With an exciting introduction, we are teased with incredible possibilities and crazing theories, as the author has us standing on edge with each turn of the page, waiting for the action to unfold. Forget the average vampire book you find on every corner – this is not a book for teens. Blooded (anunnaki rising) based on years of research, is set in a modern world so terrifyingly real, the reader gets chills when considering the possibilities, which are reinforced with fact based addendums that are hard to deny, in this masterpiece filled with “in your face” Vampiric Fallen Angels – the first in the series. The writing is whimsical, the dialogues are refreshing – the reviews are astounding! Yu will experience terror at a completely new level. The combination between vampires and ancient mythology makes this novel much more seductive, and raises the bar for all that follow! The Blooded Saga deals with the awakening of an Anunnaki King – a nearly immortal Overlord – who thinks of himself as ‘the God’ of mankind, because he and his came to Earth eons ago and genetically engineered the indigenous life they found here. In a bid for power, he sets out to destroy humankind in an attempt to summon ‘the One True God of ALL Creation’ for a showdown. Blooded – Nomads (whose publicity “tease” is available now on Amazon) hurls Earth into chaos, and the onset of Biblical tribulation begins. Blooded – Cinder (the third and final novel in the Blooded saga) finds tribulation over – it’s Hell on Earth, and the showdown between the “pretenders to the throne” and the real deal Is On!Writing this saga has been an exciting journey for me. Like Star Trek’s Enterprise and her crew – it has taken me into the unknown and uncharted, that was – at times, frightening. At times (most of the time) the books literally wrote themselves. Where they came from, I can’t say – but they’re wonderful, and I’m proud to have been the vessel used to bring them to you.

Let me tell you where you are in history. At the time our story begins, in this era, no one any longer uses the phrase, “I love you.” Only a writer of my low caliber and status would even know this antiquated saying. Let me tell you further then exactly where our story begins, and what the Scout said to me as it began, awakening me to the fact I was in a story, that something was happening to me. I will warn you though it was a not a good way to wake up. For example, if you awoke this morning in a comfortable bed, with the sun coming through the curtains, then I am happy for you. If you then slipped on clean clothes and padded down the hall for a snack, then I also envy you, but am still happy for you, as ever. Because along with no one saying I love you, padding down the hall for snacks is no longer the case as well, along with an alarming shortage of sunlight through the curtains and warm beds. There are also no more bedtimes. And that is because there are no more parents. That is where we are in history as our story begins. A story that began precisely at the moment the Scout, who was about as young as myself, shook my shoulder and said, “We’ve got to dig a hole or we’re going to die.”
