About the Author

Christine Nolfi owned a small public relations firm in Cleveland, Ohio. She closed the firm after traveling to the Philippines to adopt a sibling group of four children. She has been writing novels full-time since 2004. Her debut Treasure Me is a 2012 Next Generation Indie Awards finalist. Look for all of her releases on Amazon.

What inspires you to write romance books?

I believe Forever Love can happen to any of us.

Tell us about how you write:

I begin by developing the characters. Soon an outline takes shape, with unusual story problems. I write my novels with an eye toward emotional depth to ensure the reader stays glued to the pages. The number of 4- and 5-star reviews I’ve received on GoodReads and Amazon makes the job of writing a sheer joy.

Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?

I interview characters in the first person. It’s rather like writing in a diary while becoming each character. This process can go on for several months before Chapter One appears.

What advice would you give other writers?

Join a critique group. Read often and well, and across genres. Select a time to write every day, and stick to the schedule.

How did you decide how to publish your books?

New York publishers weren’t sure whether to shelve my books as contemporary fiction or romance. I chose to publish independently in order to build my own readership outside the constraints of a physical bookstore.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?

Independently published books will continue to win awards and find readers tired of “same old, same old” in traditionally published works.

What genres do you write:: Romance, Contemporary Fiction, Mystery

What formats are your books in: Both eBook and Print
