Here is a short sample from the book:
(from Submitting to the Doctor by Audrey Grace):
It was so bright that it almost hurt. But I was used to pain. Master made sure of that.
The lights above me dazzled, nearly blinded. They were white and clean, but even in the absence of shadows they were not soft. They were hard and hot and I felt under a spotlight.
But I was used to the spotlight. Master made sure of that.
The stainless steel contraptions, tools, and trinkets that lined the room gleamed at me, winked at me. They knew what was going to happen.
The exam table stood in the center of the room, the back upright and tilted at a minor angle. It looked as though it was mocking me, staring at me, the steel stirrups like grotesque hands beckoning me.
A sink and cabinets, beige and white, as well as metal, lined the room, like the decor of all exam rooms the country over.
I trusted Master. There was a time when I didn’t, but he helped me through that, helped me to see that he cared for me deeply, and that I didn’t need to be afraid. Because there was nothing to be afraid of.
But even though I trusted him, there was a part of my mind that wondered just what he was up to.
