She’s not afraid to tackle any topic, but she still likes her HEAs (happy ever afters) or at least her HFNs (happy for nows). In her mind, the heat is almost always better when the characters have a connection, no matter how tenuous.
What inspired you to write your book?
I think we sometimes all feel disconnected, watching the world from somewhere outside it, though Lila’s case is extreme. I wanted to see the unconnected connect!

Cupping the back of her head, he kissed her deeply. From my vantage point, I could see his hips rise up against hers. Relenting, she moaned, lifting her arms as he dragged her tank top up over her head, reaching behind her for her bra hooks.
“Mmmm,” he groaned, dragging his tongue along her throat as she obligingly ground her slender hips against his.
My heart pounded. My belly was awash with fire. Hunger. I wanted to be her.
