What inspired you to write your book?
My drifting imagine! I love being creative and visualising interesting characters and storylines that will hook the reader. My mission is to write a page-turner – that is always the goal.
It's a cliche (I know), but I have wanted to write a book since I was very young. I remember writing stories for my mum and drawing pictures of the main character – with pouty lips and pretty eyes!
Here is a short sample from the book:
Jasmine looked at him thoughtfully and wondered what Diego would think of this scenario. After all, she only knew Romeo through his brother, and when they split up five years ago, she left Diego with a broken heart. Now Romeo was taking her to a place of paradise for a month, and he only had words of praise for her. Could it be that he loved her too?
It was obvious that he fancied her, and his actions showed that he felt a great deal of affection too, but she could never tell if his feelings ran deeper than that. Maybe he had just cast his spell on her in the way he did with the other women, and she was just one of many who dreamed about Romeo’s look, words and touches meaning something more than they did. Just contemplating that notion gave Jasmine a sinking feeling, so she quickly brushed it aside.
