About the author:
I was born and raised in the Bay area. I have always been a writer. I just had no idea writing is what I was doing until later in life. I have always been told I have a way with words. In middle school, I had this teacher named Barbra Glover, and she gave the class an assignment to write a three page story about anything. At the time I had just started reading this horror novel about a group of teens who sneak into a carnival late night and get into all kinds of craziness. From the first page I couldn’t put this book down. I had to hide to read it because it was so completely inappropriate for my age. But, it inspired something in me and I wrote a thirteen page horror story about a haunted house for a three page assignment. I remember my teacher remarking to my mom about how my vocabulary was advanced for my age and my use of words when it came to detail was amazing and beautiful. Many years later I finally got what she was saying; ‘You should be doing this, creating, and telling stories, not out there being a wild hooligan.’ I often wish I would have gotten that sooner, but then, I wouldn’t have any stories to tell.
What inspired you to write your book?
I created this series because I wanted to make something different, original, raw, and amazing. I feel like I have accomplished that. Not enough people can say they have created something amazing and put it out into the universe.
