What inspired you to write your book?
This book is #5 in the Oyster Harbor series, which was inspired by coastal Maryland. In this small town, the next heroine is a sister of a past heroine, and the hero is a local businessman who appeared in previous books. I love giving everyone their own love story.

I don’t know what to say.”
“Good because I don’t want you to say anything.” Her voice shook as she backed away a step. “And I sure as hell don’t need your judgment.”
He gripped her shoulders. “I promise I won’t say a word.” And to keep his mouth shut, he pressed it—hard—against hers.
When she pushed against his shoulders, he found out how strong her hands were. Finally coming to his senses, he let her go. They stood a foot apart, her eyes large and stunned.
“I-I’m sorry,” he muttered when he found his voice. “That was completely inappropriate.”
“You’re damned right it was. Now, do it again.”
“What?”
In answer, she drifted into his arms and captured his lips with hers. Gently, but her touch set him off like a firecracker. They spun in circles, bumping into walls, tearing at each other’s clothes and hair. Kissing…. Kissing the whole goddamn time. Her lips held something he needed, and he’d never stop until he got enough.
