About the author:
Ozlo and Priya Grey are a husband and wife writing team. Their time is consumed with writing, re-writing, editing, and tinkering with Photoshop and WordPress. When they step away from their desks, they enjoy long walks on the beaches of Southern California.
What inspired you to write your book?
We wanted to explore a character who rediscovers her sexuality after a life threatening illness.
Here is a short sample from the book:
“What is this?”
“It’s my diary,” she said, looking down at the ground, avoiding his glance. “I started it when I moved back to the city. I think you should read it.”
He turned her diary over in his hands. Then he looked at her. He could sense she was still struggling with her decision. “Are you sure this is what you want?”
With her eyes still on the ground, she said, “I think you should know everything about me.” She took a deep breath and finally looked at him. There was a steely resolve in her eyes. “I’m hoping if I’m honest with you, you won’t be afraid to be honest with me. I don’t want to hide who I am or what I want anymore.”
“Is it a naughty read?” he asked, trying to make light of the situation.
“You have no idea,” she said, looking at him perhaps for the last time. Then she turned and walked away.
