What inspired you to write your book?
This book was largely inspired by a tabletop role-playing game that I played with friends a year ago. My passion for sharing the story simply outgrew the anxiety that blocked me from doing the grunt work.
Here is a short sample from the book:
“Stop it!” She turns to Moonlight, irritated. “Alright hot stuff—”
I let out a loud, unrestrained wheeze. “You called him Moony the other day and now you call him ‘hot stuff’? What is wrong with you?!”
“Says the zebra who sounds like a tea kettle!” I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jade this triggered. It’s hysterical. She comments, “I’m sorry that I’m tired. It’s hot out.”
I shift my gaze from her to Moonlight. “Phew! Yah it is.”
“Okay, I’m ignoring you now,” Jade says.
