What inspired you to write your book?
Juliet loves writing sensual, romantic stories, so venturing into the world of erotica was a natural for her.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Chapter I: Silk
The carved wooden door fell shut behind Mary. Standing on the thick carpet, she untied the dark green ribbons at her chin, removed her new white bonnet, and placed it on a small polished table along with the small embroidered bag she carried.
Her room at Noble Mansion was quite large and impossibly elegant. It was filled with luxurious, heavy wooden furniture that included the canopy bed and several comfortable chairs. Velvet draperies and sheer inner curtains covered the windows from floor to ceiling, letting in only a little of the soft grey light of the springtime afternoon.
The place seemed to be the height of luxury, she noted, walking around to the other side of the bed. White candles burned on a few of the tables scattered around the room… and then something moved in the shadows of the candlelight.
Mary quickly stepped back, startled, until the side of the bed stopped her.
"Are you so surprised to find me here?"
A man sat unmoving in one of those chairs. His hands were folded in his lap and he made no move to get up.
"I am sorry," she said, with another step back. "I only just arrived. Perhaps I am lost?"
"I was told to expect you." He cocked his head, watching her.
