About the author:
I used to write poetry and short plays. I am trying to write longer forms. When I write I find out what I think. When I write I find out what I am interested in. I am a middle aged woman and I live in the Bronx, New York.
What inspired you to write your book?
I can identify with some who feels stuck. With someone who wants more in her life and isn't sure how to go about getting it. We all go on journeys and I love to get inside someone else's head.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Linda gazed at her husband asleep on the couch. He was snoring deeply, the remote clutched in his house. His belly flowed over his pants. His scalp was visible beneath a thinning patch of brown hair. To quote Peggy Lee "Is that all there Is? she thought. What the hell happened. His kisses used to turn her to jelly. She used to be hungry for his touch. When did he turn into this lump on the couch? This unambitious, complacent lump. Linda wasn't sure what she wanted but she knew what she didn't want. She didn't want this. Same old, same old day after day. She wanted something different.
