What inspired you to write your book?
The Goddess Within was greatly inspired by ancient Roman, Greek and Germanic mythology, pagan philosophy, wicca, esotericism, Sacred Geometry, Elder Futhark runes and natural magic.
Here is a short sample from the book:
“Helping yourself sometimes equals helping others, Berka. As within so without, remember? Your inner growth may inspire and reflect to those around you, help them in ways you can’t see.”
“How do I help myself then?”
“You’ll know once you’re there, don’t worry. If you seize the abilities you were born with, if you aren’t afraid to look into your own darkness but also keep igniting the torch within, you’ll find that the true power lies in harmonising them both. Without shade, grounds would burn, just like they would wither without light. That’s why it’s so important to take in and harvest light yet also allow yourself to cast shadows where needed, like a tree. Then, in return, your shadow will support your light.”
