About the author:
My characters almost always find themselves in a strange situation not of their making. They usually have to work through a new experience or dilemma they had never faced previously. I like to show that they learn and grow from the experience and that they become better from having gone through it.
Here is a short sample from the book:
The old woman looked at Shelly for a moment, and then retrieved something from under the counter. It was a necklace with large blue cabochons set in triangular silver mounts. Although obviously not precious stones, the cabochons shimmered intriguingly in the light reflecting varying shades of blue. The old woman handed it to Shelly. “This is very special necklace, one of a kind. Make all your dreams come true. You wear with costume, you look beautiful. Twenty-five dollars.” she said.
Shelly felt the necklace. The silver wasn’t real silver either. Twenty-five dollars seemed to be a lot of money for costume jewelry. Nonetheless, she put the necklace on and adjusted it around her neck while looking in the mirror on the counter. It hung to just above her cleavage, which was funny, because Shelly never really though of herself as having cleavage. Her boobs were big, but hung too far apart to make real cleavage. But, there in the mirror, was a nice smooth cleft between her breasts.
Annie spun Shelly toward her to get a better look. “Wow!” she exclaimed, “Your tits look awesome. You have to buy that.”
