About the author:
I live on a boat in a marina with my wife. We enjoy the ambience, friendliness, and leisurely lifestyle living afloat. It gives me time to thoroughly contemplate my stories and work out the plot details and emotions of my characters.
I write with the intention of always having my characters react to situations in a realistic manner. Many of my stories have a basis in a real-life event, even if they are fictionalized. I want my readers to identify with my characters motivations even if they would never find themselves in a similar situation.
My characters almost always find themselves in a strange situation not of their making. They usually have to work through a new experience or dilemma they had never faced previously. I like to show that they learn and grow from the experience and that they become better from having gone through it.
What inspired you to write your book?
I have travelled in a motorhome and visited campgrounds similar to the one in the story. The people there have been swingers, nudists, and couples in open relationships. I wanted to tell an accurate story about them.
Here is a short sample from the book:
“Kelly, Zack,” Lynda began the introduction, “This is Rick and Pauline. We've known them for a long time. They come here every year.”
Pauline stepped to Kelly and threw her arms her, pressing her ample chest into hers, and gave her a sloppy kiss on the cheek. “Glad to meet you, Hon,” she said, then did the same to Zack, who, although surprised, enjoyed the feel of her luscious mounds pressing into his chest. Rick shook hands with both of them and exchanged greetings.
“This is their first time here,” Lynda informed.
“You've brought us newbies. You are a dear,” Pauline thanked.
Jim, the bartender, came over to the group. “Rick, Pauline, what would you like?” he asked.
“I'll have a Margarita,” Pauline answered.
“I'd like a redheaded slut,” Rick announced.
“I'm brunette,” Lynda interrupted. “I only dye my hair red, but you can still have me later.”
“I've seen your natural color,” Rick teased, “but there isn't a drink called a brunette-headed slut or I'd be asking for one of those instead. Give everyone a round on me”
