Here is a short sample from the book:
Ridge Atwood, owner and manager of Lace Thunder Studios, watched intently as Jack and Chloe writhed for him on the sofa.
He didn’t like what he saw.
“What the fuck, Chloe?!” he shouted. “You’re supposed to be enjoying it. But you look bored! We can’t have you looking bored when your face is in the shot!”
Ever unresponsive to browbeating, Chloe appeared to roll her eyes, as she looked toward the ceiling in a half-hearted attempt to modify her expression.
Despite the fact that his back was to the camera for this shot, Jack was an ever-hopeful actor who was eager to please, and as such, he was looking deeply into Chloe’s eyes, feigning passionate intensity as best he could. But finally even he said, “Hey, Ridge, I’m beginning to lose it…can we wrap this up soon?”
“Yeah, okay. Give it one last thrust,” said Ridge. “Chloe, arch your back and gasp. That’a girl! Okay. Cut. Let’s take a much-needed break, guys. Jack, you take a much-needed pill. We start filming again in an hour.”
With that, Jack and Chloe disengaged and slipped on their robes for warmth. It was Johannesburg in June, and with the floodlights turned off, the studio would be chilly in a few minutes, and frigid in half an hour.
Ridge motioned the cameraman over. “So how’s it looking, Boey?”
“Not bad, but it could be better. Jack looks best when his back’s to the camera; unfortunately so does Chloe. Neither one of them can act, really. We’ll have to coach them through the close-ups when we get back, and with a bit of Dahlvin’s creative editing, no reason the film shouldn’t turn out just fine as usual.”
“Sounds good to me. Thanks, Boey. Now go get some coffee.”
“Oh yes, I’ve been dreaming about a coffee.” Heading for the door, he called out over his shoulder, “At least they were active. The cameraman just sits and captures.”
When Boey was gone, Ridge slumped his shoulders for the day. He was more tired than he would dare let show. But his day was far from over, so he was thinking he could get his feet up for a few minutes, at least. Filming might end in a couple of hours, but then recruiting began. And if tonight was typical, he wouldn’t get home until two or three in the morning, but he still had to be back on deck by 9:00 a.m.
So quietly, Ridge slipped into his office and curled up on the sofa.

When he awoke, they were setting up for the close-ups. The floodlights were warming things up, and several cameras were in position just a few feet from the bed.
Jack, his vigor restored by a rest and a pill, was easing on a condom. Chloe was sitting on the bed.
Walking over to them, Ridge got right down to business. “Okay, let’s start doggy style. Chloe, head buried in the pillow, ass up in the air. Don’t forget to slather some lubricant everywhere – enough so it drips a little. Jack, keep your legs spread apart so the camera can see between them.” Ridge clapped once. “Everybody ready?”
Getting affirmative grunts from everybody, he said, “Okay, let’s go.”
Chloe, now very well lubricated, got herself into position. Jack, kneeling with his legs on either side of hers, placed the tip of his penis against her vulva, ready to enter.
