About the author:
I am sassy, fiery, and sometimes a little crazy erotic romance writer with a serious addiction to reading! I started reading at six years old and have never stopped. While romance is my favorite, I do like to read all kinds of genres. I spent years with the burning desire to write a romance novel. I finally got that chance last year. I quit my work as a nurse and sat down at the keyboard. Now I'm spending my days writing, researching, and still reading other author's books. I read a book literally every day! I like romance mixed with hot sex, spice, and danger. That's what I hope readers get when they read my books as well. When I'm not reading or writing, I'm working on a garden and canning. I believe in being prepared.
What inspired you to write your book?
I had several ideas swimming in my head. I knew I wanted to write about an MC. Many may think a certain popular TV series was my inspiration, but I never watched it until I'd already written the first four of my books. As I sat down to do book one, I knew I had to create a fictitious town in TN and build around that. Once that was done and research on road names and possible club names, the Archangel's Warriors MC of Dublin Falls, TN was born. Years of being a romance reader left me with so many ideas. And I knew, I wanted it to be an erotic romance.
Here is a short sample from the book:
“Baby, you’ve been mine since the moment I saw you all those months ago. I waited and now that I have you with me, I ‘m not walking away. Don’t you know you own me, woman? My heart, my soul, my body, and my mind are all yours. The thought of you leaving me makes my chest hurt. He’s our problem. Now tell me what happened that made you decide not to see him anymore, what kind of injuries did he give you the night he attacked you, and why did you wait two weeks to run after the attack?”
She nuzzled her face into my chest. “One of the reasons I told him we couldn’t keep seeing each other is, I felt not one spark with him. Even though he’d kissed me, there was nothing. I went out with him because he seemed nice and I thought maybe a spark would show up after we went out. But the biggest reason was, he had this mean streak towards other people when we did go on dates. It set off warning bells. The night of the attack, we argued about me not seeing him. He was trying to get me to take him back. When I said it wasn’t happening, he flew into a rage.”
“He slapped me. I fought to get away from him. He hit me in the face, and I hit him back. I tried everything I could to get away from him and couldn’t. He ended up choking me until he heard one of my coworkers coming out to the parking lot. I think he would’ve killed me if he hadn’t been scared off. Even with the bruising on my face and neck and my cut lip, the police let him go and the judge declined my request for a restraining order. When he ransacked my apartment, his note left me in no doubt he was toying with me and I was at his mercy. I got scared that he would catch me when I wasn’t expecting him again. So, I left the next morning and ended up here. When I left, I had no idea where I was going to go.
