About the author:
When my husband began to travel for business more and the girls at the hairdresser’s were always talking about their latest man, I decided instead of sitting home and being frustrated, I would write down their stories and other tales I hear in the suburbs. I call these stories “Urban Heat” and I think you’ll love them!
What inspired you to write your book?
To explore fun and exciting sex in the suburbs
Here is a short sample from the book:
Taking the atomizer of aftershave from the counter I gently took his hand in mine, turning it so that the underside of his wrist was exposed to the spray. The contact with his hand was as if a bolt of electricity had burst through my body. Again looking into his eyes, I gently squirted a little of the fragrant liquid onto his skin.
“Smell,” I said, reluctantly releasing his hand and the wild energy that it brought.
Obediently he sniffed his wrist and re-joined my gaze.
“Is there a boyfriend or husband I have to steal you away from?”
I stood there shocked. I was quite used to being hit on, but this good looking man brought new levels of confidence and directness.
“Ah…Ah…Ah,” I sputtered. “Ah… No.”
“Good. I’m James. What time can I pick you up?”
“Ah… Stephanie. Where are you taking me?”
“Dinner then sex.”
“Wow! I exclaimed. “You don’t beat around the bush.”
“I don’t have time for that anymore. When I want a woman, I tell her.”
“Well…” I hesitated, madly thinking whether I was going to accept a wild and forthright invitation or was going to make an excuse and blow him off.
“Eight would be good,” I heard myself say.
