About the author:
I am an erotic novelist and short story writer. In my spare time I love to run, hike and read anything and everything. I am a mother and wife and the epitome of a soccer mom to my kiddos.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Matt watched her from across the field. She was beautiful – dark hair, green eyes. Intense green eyes. She glanced his way for the briefest of moments and he was hooked. But her eyes confused him. While her smile was stunning, her eyes held nothing but distrust and pain. That beautiful smile never reached her eyes. She paced the sideline and kept to herself. He wondered what her story was, he wondered who she was. More importantly, he wondered if she would give him the time of day.
Sydney paced the sideline as her teammates continued to run drills – frustrated that she couldn’t be out there with them. Her knee injury was keeping her sidelined for far longer than she wanted to be. Soccer had always been her passion but when her husband passed away last summer, struck by a drunk driver, everything had changed. Her entire world had stood still, and she still hadn’t recovered. She had hoped she could move past the grief and begin to heal once she got back out on the soccer field, but her injury was forcing her to think otherwise.
