About the author:
Felicia Strobe resides in Texas where guns, religion, & football take precedence, making Texas not for the light-hearted. When not writing, Felicia likes to cuddle with her chubby ginger tomcat Porgie with a good book in hand, preferably a delicious mystery; though she lives to write romance. Lesbian romance has been a favorite of hers since she was in her teens and still is to this day. View Catalog
Here is a short sample from the book:
“You’re sure? You’re really, completely entirely sure?” Karen stared at me with an urgent, desperate hesitancy in her dark eyes. If you had asked me a year ago, I would have told you that look and Karen never could have gone together. The past few weeks though, I had seen it on her more often that not. I shook my head as I chewed my burrito slowly, trying to calm myself down enough to answer her without sounding upset. This was killing me, but I had to be strong for her. “You don’t need to keep asking. I’m good with this. I promise.” Karen stared at me with the same doubt in her eyes, the same pain on her face. I reached across the stick shift and laid my hand on top of hers, reassuringly. I still couldn’t get used to how quickly touching her could set my skin on fire, make me catch my breath. “We’re good.”
