About the author:
I am a former schoolteacher, FBI agent and private investigator. My hobbies include playing Flamenco guitar and ballroom dancing. When I am not working on a book, you can usually find me at a local dance studio, practicing my steps.
What inspired you to write your book?
I am a ballroom dancer and I’ve always wanted to write a novel set in the world of ballroom dancing. Once Last Dance, a paranormal romance, gave me the opportunity to tell the story of Marco and Julia who met and fell in love on the dance floor.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Today I met with Max, Julia’s ex-boyfriend. We talked about Julia and her uncertain future. From the beginning, it was clear that we had nothing in common, except for our love for Julia, and it made me wonder: would they have gotten back together if she hadn’t suffered a miscarriage? It was a topic that Julia had yet to bring up. Whatever the answer, I could tell that Max was a solid kind of guy who had been her protector as much as her friend and lover. He had come into her life when she needed someone to lean on.
Perhaps, the saying is true: people come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Max was clearly a season, which means that I am here for either a reason or a lifetime. Only time will tell.
