About the author:
What inspired you to write your book?
One of my favorite bands is The Goo Goo Dolls and I was watching their video on you tube when they were playing on David Letterman years ago. Johnny Reznik was my inspiration for Richie Stone in My Mr. London.
Here is a short sample from the book:
The lights dim, and it’s quiet as the band walks on stage. I notice the lead singer first, as he’s practically kissing the mic. He starts singing their first song, and he is absolutely mesmerizing. Every girl in the club is hypnotized by not only his masculine good looks, but by his incredibly sexy voice. He has great hair, dark blonde, long and jagged in the front. He is gorgeous, with perfect angular features. I drink him in, with his eyeliner, earrings, beaded necklace and bracelets that suit his rocker boy package. He looks deliciously bad and oh so damn sexy. He does have some tats, but is not covered in them. Heat has blossomed between my legs just watching him. Can you tell it’s been a while since I’ve had a roll in the sheets? Here I sit lusting after some guy a hundred other women in this room are as well.
“Isn’t Richie smokin’ hot?” Cassandra yells over the music at me. Oh my God, that is an understatement, he is beyond hot! I laugh out loud at her and nod my head yes in agreement as we dance and sway to the music.
