What inspired you to write your book?
My fiance and I wrote this novel because of our relationship and love.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Behind the girl, stood a tall, full-bearded man with a high ponytail that made him look like a samurai. He leaned against the wall, looking frazzled. Despite that, he was decidedly handsome with deep-set piercing green eyes, and a strong masculine jaw.
Nova wouldn’t allow his looks to be a distraction though. He was her mentor, and she was only here for one thing. To get her degree.
“Hello,” he said, his voice warm and resonant, “I’m Mr. Marsh. Who are you here about?”
“I’m actually not—”
The phone in his office rang, and he sighed, his shoulders slumping. “One second. It never ends.”
He answered the phone and spoke loud enough for Nova to hear. “Hey Dr. Fort… Not yet, but I don’t understand. I didn’t want an intern, and I don’t have time for one. My job is too stressful as it is. Can’t someone else have her… No, I understand. I’ll do my best.”
Nova heard him hang up, and a second later, he reappeared.
“So, whose parent are you again? Come in, I have a few minutes.” He waved her in and then sat in his office chair.
Nova’s stomach sank. “I’m Nova Velez, the intern.”
“Oh,” he said, his face taking on a rosy color.
