What inspired you to write your book?
I really love vintage fashion, history, movies and books, plus I?ve had this idea in my head for a while.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Robert made her feel so vulnerable, but she was getting used to it. His hand pressed tenderly against the base of her neck, sending sensitive shivers across her skin. She felt her breath become heavy as he touched her. It felt so good to be in his arms this way, safe, protected, present. He kissed the top of her head first, and his other hand slid down her waist.
“Let me distract you from your worries,” he whispered. “My sweet lady.”
His thumb pressed lightly into her lip, and he kissed her mouth with a hunger finally satisfied. A whimper caught at the back of her throat, as she had no idea how much she’d actually wanted this. She ran her fingers through his hair, and he reciprocated with his own touch firmly upon her hips. She pressed into him but he pulled away, a playful grin teasing her yearning gaze.
“I think that’s good for now.” He slid his thumb across her cheek. “Before something bad happens.”
“Oh, no, you don’t.” She bit down on her lip. “You kiss me again right now.”
And so he did.
