Excerpt from "A Hot Ride"
"I can feel his eyes roaming my body, mentally removing my clothes as I walk back and forth across the stage. I can already feel his eyes caress and stroke me until I almost can't take it anymore. I almost miss a word in my excitement.
When the song ends I hang up the microphone and leave the stage. I walk towards the back of the room where he stood to find that he has disappeared. Sighing to myself I go to the bar and start to order a drink when one is handed to me, my favorite. Curious and grateful, I turn to say thanks and find no one.
I look around and spot him walking out the back doors as if to leave only turning enough to catch my eye and smile his delicious smile. I make my excuses to others nearby vying for my attention as I head out the back to catch up to him. When I get to his car he is waiting for me, holding open my door like some gentleman from a storybook romance. He closes the door and climbs behind the wheel.
He drives for a while never speaking until we reach a vacant lot, overgrown from neglect. I can only see a few feet in front of the car where the headlights shine into the din. He walks around to the back of the car and removes a blanket from the trunk, lays it on the hood and offers me a seat next to him. He looks delicious; all dark hair, fit body in tight jeans and an even tighter shirt. His eyes, that seem to look directly into me instead of just at me."
