Here is a short sample from the book:
“Please.” I said. “Don’t stop. I remember. When you kiss me, I remember.”
He brought his lips back to mine and a flash of color filled my vision.
I was at the beach feeling the heat from the sun and seeing the blue horizon in front of me. My yellow hair ruffled around my face and a boy with hazel eyes stood before me with a perfect smile on his face. I felt the heat of his skin when I reached to touch his face.
The vision faded and was replaced with a park bench in a dark evening; the sun barely peeking over the mountains. We were laughing but there was no sound. Flashes of smiles and exchanges of looks rapidly played in my memory. There were so many empty hours that were filled with the one thing I should have never been able to forget.
Another memory, a laugh, a smile and finally, a kiss; a kiss in the afternoon standing in the tall grass of our field.
When he finally pulled away I had soft tears rolling down my face, but I was unable to keep from smiling.
“Did you see?” he asked.
I nodded. “More than that,” I said. “I remember. The visions…I know I have lived those moments before. They felt perfectly familiar and fitting. I know those memories are mine. I remember.”
He pulled me into his chest. “I have made you fall in love with me countless times,” he said. “But you never remembered.”
“And now I do.”
“Having you is a miracle,” he said, “I want nothing more in the entire world.”
