About the author:
I enjoy writing, reading, and listening to music. I don’t believe in tailoring my writing to one specific genre. I believe my education has brightened my horizons, when it comes to limiting one’s self. My reading is like my writing. I don’t believe in limiting myself and exploring options. This world has a lot to offer, but only to those that seek to explore the hidden worlds.
What inspired you to write your book?
This book was written to inspire people to search deep inside their souls to understand their purpose on this earth and challenge themselves to achieve greatness! I choose the title of this book as a metaphor to what society generally views as important. The concepts in this book are intended to inspire one’s mental perception of how they view the terms: rich, wealth, and happiness; and imply a meaning to these words as they will become beneficial in each individual’s life. This book is intended to motivate and expand one’s perceptions of life as these words can have powerful meaning to anyone.
Here is a short sample from the book:
When you think of becoming rich, what are some thoughts that run through your mind? Some common ideas that people associate with being rich are: million dollar homes, extravagant vehicles, owning a boat, and having a nanny. People generally compare one’s riches to the monetary items that they possess.
The ideas of being wealth for some may bring the idea of famous motivators, actors, and actresses. Some common people that are well known for their wealth are: Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, and Danielle Steele (a very well-known female Author). Each individual that has been mentioned above, are known to many to be very wealthy. There is really no need at comparing their monetary wealth because that is not important or worth any interest to us. That by all means, is their hard earned money and they have simply been mentioned to make a valid example of wealthy individuals and how conception of wealth is often viewed.
The ideal of happiness for many people revolves around the presence of having a mate. Typical acceptance of a relationship involves the common unity of marriage between a man and a woman.
These are general ideas or examples that society generally associates when defining or describing each of those words. This book is not intended to cast judgment or persuade you that this thought process is incorrect. Although, when you think of achieving these goals in your own life; how do you apply these descriptions into your own life?
