About the author:
I live on a boat in a marina with my wife. We enjoy the ambience, friendliness, and leisurely lifestyle living afloat. It gives me time to thoroughly contemplate my stories and work out the plot details and emotions of my characters.
I write with the intention of always having my characters react to situations in a realistic manner. Many of my stories have a basis in a real-life event, even if they are fictionalized. I want my readers to identify with my characters motivations even if they would never find themselves in a similar situation.
My characters almost always find themselves in a strange situation not of their making. They usually have to work through a new experience or dilemma they had never faced previously. I like to show that they learn and grow from the experience and that they become better from having gone through it.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Scott walked into the kitchen for his first shift as lunch cook looking much the same as he looked the first day Lee saw him almost six months ago. She reminisced about that day, remembering how he came in wearing sandals, shorts, and a tee-shirt. Scott was tall, well over six-feet with wide shoulders, a slim waist and hips, and well muscled legs. His biceps and shoulders stretched the fabric of the tee-shirt to it’s limit and his pecs showed prominently through the expanded material. His small shorts left nothing to the imagination revealing strong, tanned legs and his well-muscled glutes. Lee was immediately taken by his appearance and fantasized frequently about how great it would be to have sex with him. At the time she had a steady boyfriend, so her ruminations never went beyond the thought of his strong body pressing against hers, but the thoughts frequently occurred while having sex with her boyfriend and she had to censor herself from blurting out Scott's name on several occasions.
