What inspired you to write your book?
I wanted to write something that was different from the everyday love story. It needed to be real and it needed to show that love isn’t always peaches and cream.
Here is a short sample from the book:
A few more minutes into the massage and Alex realized that something had changed. No longer was her touch just that of a masseuse on a client – it felt like a caress. Even the atmosphere in the room changed. Alex opened his eyes and looked up to see her staring at his face. Her eyes were dilated and her cheeks were flushed. She was aroused! He wasn’t a pervert after all.
Not knowing what to do, but knowing that he desperately needed to have her, he silently pondered his dilemma. Having sex with a woman within an hour of meeting her was something that he had never done, but what had propriety ever gotten him anyway? Being a gentleman all his life had dealt him no reward. In fact being a good man had still resulted in him being miserable and unhappy. Wasn’t the purpose of his vacation to escape from his reality and have some fun?
Making love to the beautiful woman above him was the only thing he wanted to do in the near future. Would she go that far? The desire was one thing, but to actually act on it was another. What if she did? Was he prepared to deal with the consequences?
She ran her hand along his chest and all rational thought escaped his mind.
“You are beautiful,” he told her.
“So are you,” she replied with a timid smile.
