Gravity by Amelia Wilde

Infuriating. Intoxicating. Irreplaceable.

All words I’d use to describe Dex Stevens, the boy who never played by the rules.

We were never a couple.

We were always in love—electric, time-defying love.

He saved me.

He shattered me.

I’ve spent eight years trying to live without him.

Moving up in my career means moving closer to home, and I’m grabbing the opportunity with both hands. Getting rid of baggage. Striking out on my own.

But it turns out I’m right back where I started.

Because Dex’s apartment is in the same building as my brand-new office.

And this time, I don’t think I can stay away.

Author’s Note: This is a full-length standalone second-chance bad boy romance. No cliffhanger. HEA included. Available on Kindle Unlimited!

About the author:

Amelia writes about alpha heroes and heroines who have real life skills. Sparks always fly, and readers are never left without a happy ending.

What inspired you to write your book?

I wrote about Dex and Abby based on real-life experiences. Sometimes the people in our lives circle back just in time, and we rediscover the spark that makes everything worth it!

Here is a short sample from the book:

Dex lifts his head from my breasts and kisses me again, his lips gentle against mine, then rough. He is an absolute symphony. His hands might spend most of their time in the hard metal bodies of cars, but he plays mine like it’s an instrument he’s played all his life.
It’s been so long.
It’s been so long since I was with a man who treated me like a queen. Tom always wanted sex for sex’s sake. It should have been a sign early on that my initial attraction to him was short-lived.
Tom was a candle. Dex is the sun.
Dex lifts himself up, pulling away for a moment. When I feel this movement I open my eyes and stare back into the depths of his.
“Why did you stop?” I whisper.
“I just wanted to look at you like this.”
“Like what, naked?” My mouth curves in a smile.
“Naked and gorgeous and close to me.”
“Miss me?”
“Every second.”
He lowers his head back down and drags his full lips all the way back down to my panties, then hooks a finger underneath the waistband and peels them off, tossing them to the floor.
He doesn’t waste a single moment.

    0 out of 5

Chloe Lambert is used to men looking at her twice but for all the wrong reasons – they cannot believe how ugly she is. She has no reason to think Park Delafield, of the perfect profile and cheek bones to die for, is any different when he insults her in a pub. But all is not as it seems, turns out he’s looking for salvation and has decided she’s the one. Only trouble is, Chloe’s not so sure.

When a stranger in a bar loudly comments on her appearance, Chloe Lambert can only assume that the remark which cut her to the bone was for him simply a casual aside. He sets out to win Chloe but she, bewildered by his attentions and repelled by his egotism, wants no part in his quest. Until his tireless persistence, combined with her own curiosity about his true personality and motives, soften her distrust of his sincerity. Most come to The Beaudelaire Hotel a few times a year merely to indulge in sexual fantasy, but the stakes are higher for Karen Freeman and Paul Beaudelaire. Karen is nine years post-op from a double mastectomy, and her vain ex-husband hadn’t agreed with her decision to remove her remaining good breast or to eschew reconstruction. In the end, that decision cost her. She lost her marriage, but she’s certain the move prolonged her life.
