FORBIDDEN, was inspired by a friend.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Jessie clung on to the craggy ridge with all the vigour she could muster. Beads of sweat fell from her brow merging with her tears. She begins to slip, little by little. Her body’s strength weakening while she fights to hold on. Her foothold is giving way beneath her. She feels the cloak of death wrap around her entirety as another finger loosens its grip. The stony ridge cuts into her hands drawing blood; refusing to give in to defeat – she clings on. The force of the wind is palpable as it attacks her body like an invisible enemy…
Ajay sped to a halt and leaps out of his car. He searches his surroundings and learns that Jessie is nowhere to be found. She definitely stated ridge point in her message, he thought perplexed. He feels panic elevate within him when his eyes fall upon her car. Instinct leads him to the edge of the ridge. He sees Jessie hanging on, albeit scarcely.
