About the author:
I am a Missionary to West Africa and a firm believer that with God nothing is impossible. No matter the situation He can and is willing to forgive and heal. He will restore you to the place of your destiny.
What inspired you to write your book?
I love to encourage others. Because “life” can sometimes cause people to not only turn away from love, but more importantly it can cause them to turn away from God and His love. So within the humor, drama and madness of the trials the characters are facing in the stories. There is always a message. Faith, failure, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, restoration are always a part of my stories. Because they connect to real life situations and this is my way of encouraging people to never give up on God.
Here is a short sample from the book:
“Well, there was the incident with his party. I kind of made a big deal when he called me out at his party.”
Israel steps into the den. “I didn’t call you out. I merely stated a fact.”
Felicia jumps as she hears Israel’s voice.
“Oh, honey you’re here. I didn’t know. I was just sharing with your mother why I think you’ve become distant.”
“Felicia, go home, forget you ever knew me, and forget this address and my number.”
“Israel, you don’t mean that. Why are you rubbing your head? You seem frustrated with me or something.”
“I’m not frustrated. I’m tired of this drama. I don’t have the strength or time for it. I’ve moved on and I encourage you to do the same as well.”
“But honey, I’m sorry.”
“Stop lying Felicia. The only reason why you had that party was for your friends to see for themselves that actually do know me. It was never about me. It was all about you and your lust for the lime light. All you see is the glitz and glamour of being with me. Had I know you were a gold digger from the start…
