What inspired you to write your book?
To be honest, Twitter. Twitter made me want to write Date Like A Woman. If you are a participant on Twitter you understand its value in terms of social commentary. The hot topics of the moment are always shared and discussed.
Whenever perusing Twitter I would read tweets about how hard a time women were having dating. I could not understand what they were finding so difficult until I started reading how and what they thought about dating and men.
Also, I noticed the popularity of male "dating gurus" who were spouting the most sexist dating drivel.
My goal in writing Date Like A Woman was to help women (through my unconventional approach to dating) have a more successful dating life, enjoy the art of dating, and just be happier in general.
