What inspired you to write your book?
I grew up with Xena Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as my role models. I never wanted to be saved by a prince. I wanted to be strong enough to save myself. This is probably why my heroines are always strong and feisty. My Shadow-walkers series is inspired by my time as a rock and roll musician, and the females are the rock stars here. They command the supernatural males they love. This series is a cross between Rock Star and Supernatural. It's sexy, scary, and suspenseful.

Five Finger Death Punch’s loud music pierced the air. Cigarette and pot smoke sent a lingering, strong, herbal-smelling cloud into the large, dimly lit living room, and people laughed and chattered in different groups.
Yet it all seemed like it was happening far away.
All I could focus on was the black-clothed, hooded figure outside the window. He watched me from below in the shadows of the trees lining the Hollywood Hills mansion belonging to Bobby Draco, lead singer of Children of Judas. My stalker had appeared every night since I’d arrived here ten days ago.
