What inspired you to write your book?
I started writing in High School and College, this story is based off a screenplay I once wrote. A Love story between two characters facing odds that continue to keep them apart.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Turning off his car, we both look at each other in amusement at the fight we had earlier today after I discovered he’d moved all of my things out of my apartment.
“I still can’t believe you did that.”
“Bella, you underestimated me. I meant it when I said I would not let anything stand in our way, even you. We belong together, and no one can do anything about it.”
“Yes, Sir.”
“You know what that does to me when you call me Sir.”
“I do and you know we can’t do anything because we’re meeting my family and I need you on your best behavior.”
“Of course baby. Does your family know about me, specifically my family?”
As we’re walking and he’s rubbing my ass, I stop at the mention of his family’s business. Turning and looking into his eyes, I smile and think of an excuse to give my family.
“I only told them about your club business. Depending on how far things go with us, then we can discuss your family and my family meeting.”
A smirk crosses Antonio’s face, and I see the wheels turning in his head.
“I see I’m not the only one in this relationship that hides secrets.”
