About the author:
Julian Max is a local writer who lives in the “Windy-City” and is an expert on diamonds. He is a regular volunteer worker at his local food bank and enjoys long walks for charity. Passion has always been at the heart of his every decision and this is reflected most in his favorite form of expression; literature. Julian is a true dreamer who believes in telling the stories that often go unheard, especially those that run through his own mind.
What inspired you to write your book?
My head is simply filled with stories, as I see a story in everything around me. Sometimes, I enjoy putting these stories to paper and share them with the world.

was an unusual occurrence. He was probably about six feet
tall, with sandy brown hair and dark brown eyes. He looked like
he kept in shape,
although in jeans and a corduroy jacket, it wasn
t that easy to tell. At least he didn
have that no-neck steroid wrestler look.
n a town where the local high school team
had won the state wrestling championship 15 of the last 25 y
ears, Emily was only
too familiar with that look. He had a scar on his chin like H
arrison Ford and a
smile that showed one crooked eyetooth, but that touch simp
ly kept him from
looking like a store mannequin. He looked to be around her age, may
be a year or
