About the author:
When my husband began to travel for business more and the girls at the hairdresser’s were always talking about their latest man, I decided instead of sitting home and being frustrated, I would write down their stories and other tales I hear in the suburbs. I call these stories “Urban Heat” and I think you’ll love them!
What inspired you to write your book?
I enjoy writing about heat and passion.
Here is a short sample from the book:
Something inside me went “Wow!” as he strode up the drive, a white t-shirt stretched across his muscular chest, an ornate dragon tattoo covering his right arm and strategically ripped D & G jeans emphasizing his tight butt. Navy Converse shod his feet.
His face was strong and angular, making him handsome without any hint of prettiness, his short hair spiked with gel.
“Hi!” he said with an easy smile.
“Hi,” I squeaked in reply, my knees going weak as lustful desire swept through my body. “Can I get your name please?”
“Sure. Michael Stevens.”
“Number?”
I diligently took his phone number before handing him an advertising flyer. “If you’ve got any questions, don’t hesitate to come and see me.”
“Thanks,” he replied, then he bounced up the front steps.
“God he’s gorgeous!” I thought.
I remained at my post at the front of the house bidding inspectors farewell and inquiring about their interest in the property, pushing down the urge to become delinquent of my duties and instead give a personal tour to Mr. Dragon Tattoo.
Finally he emerged from inside, still sporting a broad smile.
“Very nice,” he said with a direct gaze which seemed to pierce all the way to my soul, wild pulses of attraction gyrating through my body.
“So you interested?”
“I like what I see.”
“Great!”
“I like the house too!”
