What inspired you to write your book?
A number of intense personal experiences have inspired me to write this story. I felt compelled to share that with whomever ever desired to spend some unforgettable, and life-changing, time in Paris.

Janette
She watched Gerald hypnotically. It was then that she realized that she was feeling dizzy. Maybe it was his excessive chatter, maybe the sparkling wine, but whatever it was, she felt relaxed. She had overcome her initial nervousness and embarrassment.
Daniel, who was sitting by her side, stood up. In doing so, the timid architect was unable to avoid making fleeting physical contact with her. Perhaps because he was feeling a little lightheaded, as he got up, he placed his hand on her arm. In other circumstances, Janette wouldn't have placed any importance at all on this detail. Now however, and given Gerald's plan, she felt a tremor run down the length of her body.
'I'll go and fetch another bottle,' Daniel said and headed off towards the kitchen.
Janette exchanged a look with Gerald. She saw in his eyes a mixture of supplication and command. He was begging her to continue, to find the strength and the courage to carry out her mission, whilst at the same time commanding her not to baulk at what she had to do.
He winked, as if he wanted to reassure her.
She observed Rebecca looking directly at her. She might have felt somewhat light-headed herself, but she wasn't about to back off. Janette felt as though Rebecca was ripping her to shreds with her eyes.
Gerald
Daniel came in with a second bottle of rosé. He hugged the bottle close to his chest as if he was holding a baby. Stopping in front of the small table, and having first cast a conspiratorial look at the others, he opened the bottle. Gerald watched him with interest. He saw that his friend was becoming increasingly bold. That was a good sign.
'Let's drink this one as well,' Daniel said in an unusually high-pitched tone. He then poured the wine.
He's started to turn the corner, so that's good.
'Is it the same wine as before?' Janette asked in a rather giggly tone.
'It's the same champagne… inside the same crystal breast,' chipped in Rebecca, demonstrating that she was still prepared for battle.
Gerald cast an oblique look at Rebecca who was sitting next to him on the settee.
I will teach you a lesson, my wonderful hostess.
Janette
Daniel, looking relaxed, came and sat down next to her. By chance, his hand once again touched her arm. Janette shivered again. She felt so agitated that she almost dropped her empty glass.
'Oh, do you need a refill?' Daniel misinterpreted the action and thought that Janette was making a sign for him to fill her glass. Or at least that's how he made it look.
In different circumstances, Janette would not have been affected whatsoever by the adolescent attempts at flirting from someone like Daniel. After all, Gerald's friend seemed too civilized to be a real nuisance. Now however, with the role she had to play constantly on her mind, she felt as though she was sitting on red hot coals. Before she had a chance to consider how she should respond, she became aware of Daniel moving very close to her, bending low over her breasts in an attempt to refill her glass. Daniel had moved so close that she even managed to detect the very small amount of cologne which he wore. As soon as Janette realized what make of cologne it was, she was overwhelmed with surprise.
So, he wears Chakra eau de cologne with Pheromones!
Janette was acquainted with this product which was known on the market as “sex and power”. This oriental, but masculine aroma hid behind a bouquet of pheromones, the very substances which stimulate the most primitive parts of the brain, and instinctively cause erotic attraction to the opposite sex.
So Daniel really does want to seduce me…
To her great surprise, but also consternation, Janette realized that Gerald's friend was taking his role very seriously indeed. The fact that he was wearing a cologne containing erotic male pheromones, showed that he intended to play his part as a seducer of women in a very realistic manner. And the target of his conquest was of course her herself.
Oh my God!
