It was the night of the big Hollywood orgy. Aleta and Derek slipping separately away. Hollywood had remodeled Aleta, turned her into a creature of lust, a wanton plaything. And then Derek understood what was happening, and he raced to the carnal house to claim his wife and settle a few scores. The orgy was in full swing, but then no one knew there was a dead girl upstairs, out of the way of the sin set!

The solemn occasion of his father’s funeral doesn’t seem quite right to Rory Foran. There is something evil, which first manifests itself in the form of a beautiful blonde who turns up in his bedroom . . . and who has been brutally tortured in the bargain. First, Rory had to find the answer to the big riddle: how does the once lumber-rich family continue to exist as if the big money were still rolling in? There must be something bringing in evil money, and he must find out what that abomination is. And what of his mother? Is she wrapped up in the maze of shame, this degraded means through which he must search out the truth?
