When April Summers receives a modest inheritance, she knows exactly what she wants to do. Without a second thought, or more than a cursory internet search, she purchases her new home in the scenic foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. She packs her few belongings into a moving van, ready to swap big city life for a 19th century miner’s cabin and a hobby farm. What she gets instead is one historical wall, the world’s most disgusting RV, and a ragtag band of misfit animals. Worse, the handsome owner of the local feed store is ready and waiting with a big bill, a stone-chiseled jaw, and a gleam in his eye!

In his previous life as a professional sports fisherman, J.T. Thomson traveled the globe, but he has never seen anything like the spunky, capricious blond that just rolled into town. So, when an actual TV star shows up in Harmony Ridge looking to film an episode of a popular fishing show and J.T. catches April pretending to be an expert fisherman, he volunteers to be their local guide.
