Author Interview: Jason Kondrath

About the author:
I am writer who has been writing horror, for a very long time, but I am new to the Romance or Erotica genre. It is very difficult to write in a way that will appeal to both sexes.

What inspires you to write romantic fiction?
I wanted to be an accomplished author, something meaningful with my life.

Tell us about how you write.
The process is just very natural to me. I can't explain it, it is just something I am, rather that do.

Do you listen to or talk to to your characters?
Both.

What advice would you give other romance writers?
Experience will be your greatest teacher.

How did you decide how to publish your books?
I wanted the opportunity to promote my own books, my own way. Without having that determined for me by the Publishing Companies. The Internet allows me to do that. Creative people need their freedom.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think it will be like social media, more people will individualize and get their own websites, rather than depend on platforms like YouTube, Facebook or Twitter.
